Meet Alex….

Alex Gorchesky is a Bass Scholarship recipient at "The Berklee College of Music". He has opened/performed with several prominent National and International artists including Stanley Jordan, Ralf Illenberger, and Chris Spheeris. He has also performed at several regional venues including Studio Live and The Sedona Performing Arts Center. When Alex was 16 years old, one of his original compositions was featured in "Sedona" - The Movie”. Alex is part of a prominent group of sound engineers in the Sedona area. He is known for his attention to detail and precision. “Everytime I listen to one of Alex’s engineered shows, they always sound the best” -Chris Spheeris.

This Berklee College of Music undergrad is a versatile musician and bassist. Though Alex’s primary instrument is the 5 string Electric Bass, he also plays 4 string Electric Bass, Upright Jazz Bass, 6 String Acoustic electric guitar, and an 8 String Acoustic electric Baritone guitar. 

Regional and national influences for Alex include a variety of musicians, composers and bassists. They are: Janek Gwizdala, Pink Floyd, Andreas Vollenweider, Ralf Illenberger, Ebinho Cardoso, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Sonny Rollins, Tower of Power, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Stanley Jordan, Stanley Turrentine, Pat Metheny, Anthony Mazzella, Sergio Altamura, Miles Davis, Lao Tizer, Chris Spheeris, Weather Report, Michael Hoppe, Dexter Gordan, The YellowJackets, Grant Stinnett, Herbie Hancock, Richard Bona, Robert Glasper, Michael Manring, Paul Taylor, Michael Hedges, Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Wonder, Victor Wooten and many more....

Alex's music and songs are deeply original, haunting, poignant, and powerful. His resultant sound is intricately woven through a special way he connects bass amps, guitar amps and multiple sound pedals. All acoustically harmonious and in concert with each other.  

Feelings, Passion and Spirituality are uniquely expressed in each performance. You simply must see and hear this young Berklee musician and composer do what he was destined to do.~
